Emma has discovered the ducklings and the goslings at the wetland park infront of Jasons office and she LOVES them. I took her there last Tuesday and we fed the ducks bread and watched them come flocking to us to get a snack. She also loves the boardwalk to run on, and I do too because its all closed in and I don't have to worry about her falling in the water.

Jason and I grew up in St. Louis in the suburbs. Jason is an engineer and I work in agriculture. Both of us feel a strong tie to nature and feel that it is important to raise our children with a sense of the natural world around them outside of the mowed suburbs. In April of 2010 we jumped in with both feet and bought a 14 ac farm in the middle of St. Peters/O'Fallon. We will learn thru our experiences "on the farm" and hope to create wonderful memories as we go...
