Emma's first fishing trip -Fathers Day 2006

Jason and I took Emma on her first fishing trip for Fathers Day this year. Emma loved riding in the boat, after she got over beening mad that we had not come to the lake to SWIM! She ran right into the water and got soaking wet right off the bat, and had no fear of the little fishies swimming around her toes. Emma was very excited about "driving" the boat, and watching daddy catch fish, but had no use for the fish themselves when daddy tried to show her them.

popsicles!

Emma's has found a new love for the summer! Popsicles! When we came home from Vonda's house yesterday afternoon, we got into the garage and she immediately wanted a popsicle. It did not take her long to catch on that there were popsicles in the deep freeze. Of course being the neat little girl that she is when she eats, she was upset that she had spilled on her clothes and kept telling me "a mess" until we got changed to clean clothes!

Emmas Ducks

Emma has discovered the ducklings and the goslings at the wetland park infront of Jasons office and she LOVES them. I took her there last Tuesday and we fed the ducks bread and watched them come flocking to us to get a snack. She also loves the boardwalk to run on, and I do too because its all closed in and I don't have to worry about her falling in the water.

Emma's Swim Lessons

Emma is taking swim lessons at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters and is LOVING them. She loves them so much in fact that when we drive past the Rec Plex on non swimming days she hollers "Pool-a" and "schwimm"! We are looking forward to the pool opening in the neighborhood Memorial Day Weekend so that Emma and I can do more swimming. I will add pics of her swimming soon.

Easter 2006

Emma, Jason and I had an exciting Easter this year. Easter started early for us at a BBQ at Bill and Debbie's house. We had BBQ and Emma and Caleb had an early visit from the Easter Bunny from AD and UG and Brian and Patti and the girls, and Papa and Noni too. Papa and Noni gave us a new outfit and a BALLOON! On Easter Sunday morning, Jason, Emma and I went to 7:30 mass at All Saints and beat the crowd. There were people lined up to get in the church at 8:25 for the 9:00 mass!!!
After Mass, we headed over to Gma nd Gpa Szachnieski's house for ham, and Emma loved the ham and red jello too. Emma played with cousin Caleb's toys and they shared cheerios! Papa Barry gave us M&M's and cheerios for easter, and a bunny too, and we ate a whole mini size pack of m&m's by our self! (only because it was Easter of course!)
After we headed home Barry and Jason mowed grass at the house before we had a BBQ and Nana and Papa came to join us with Ian and his new girlfriend Denise. Auntie Tricia game too and had the important job of hiding the eggs and then helping Emma carry the basket while she hunted... for the eggs that Papa John and Ian did not eat. Emma got lucky when Papa Barry and Papa John put together her sit and spin that she had gotten for Christmas that Jason and I never got around to putting together. see more Easter pics at http://community.webshots.com/user/sayalee76
